
AIGA Orlando Mentorship 2020
90's baby is a brand meant to be a fun, nostalgic experience that shows how trends come back around. Taking colors, type, and shapes that spoke to that vintage 90's palette, I created a consistent look for the brand.
My goal was a timeline of products reflecting the toys a 90's baby played with as a child, cosmetics wanted in their early teen years, and clothes that an adult 90's baby wants currently because they have come back in style but still feel personal.
Focusing on packaging and product design, most objects were created using 3D shapes in Adobe Dimension and illustrations done in Adobe Illustrator. The universal story I focused on was that when a trend comes back around it makes you feel connected to your past. Instances of nostalgia make you feel as if your timeline is both rewinding and playing forward simulataneously.
90's baby is youthful, nostalgic, fun, and energetic.
